Stuff you should know.

There aren't many of them, but read the ones that are here.

This is where anyone- from guest to moderator- can post requests or concerns about the board itself. Things like bugs, not being able to post somewhere, wanting me to install some new themes. etc.

for anything not included in the boards below.

The main forum is more intended for players to use, rather then game-owners. Where people can post for things they are looking for, ideally in a game, and other people can respond with suggestions, ideally of other games. For game owners: inside you'll find a sub-board where you can request things like staff for your game. :3

Because discussing games is, in itself, a valuable resource, I've decided to move all the discussion boards into this one board, right here at the top of the forum. If you feel like you want some other boards-- different fandoms, different aspects that we discuss-- please poke me, and I shall add them. :3 Be sure you read the discussion rules before you participate.

Post artwork! Make sure you have permission to post any artwork you do post here, and steer clear of things that are illegal and/or sexually explicit. Mark anything that may require a more mature audience (Like nudes, etc) with "MATURE WARNING, (Nudity/Gore/Whatever)" in the title-- Otherwise, have at!

Systems power your game. They aren't static, like articles are- they're things that determine how your game functions, and drive it forward. They can be for plot, or for things like forum maintenance- anything. The best way I can think to describe it is with an example. Pern hatchings are run on a festival hatching type system. :3 Prepare everythign ahead of time, have one big day with the hatching and a celebration. :D That is a system of hatching.

Every game has articles. These let you know about the history, the plot, etc. Talk about them- which are good to use.

Fellow advertisement sites. All RPG advertisement sites may post an advertisement here. Affiliates will be pinned and put in this post- only pern or other bond-beast-based advert sites may be affiliates.

Listings for Canon pern games. That means you're playing, more or less, in the canon outlined by the books. 5 colors, etc. This covers ranges from strict canon to loose canon, but it's still going to be more-or-less book pern.

Listings for Semicanon. What semicanon is varies from person to person, so I leave the justification for posting here in the hands of the poster. May have new colors or otherwise change the structure of pern.

Listings for Noncanon games. What constitutes noncanon varies from person to person, so I leave this justification in the hands of the poster. Certainly breaks canon more then semi-canon, but it could be just a touch past that mark, or get into wild and crazy diversions on the original pernese plot.

Where AU games are listed. This is pern... and then some. So noncanon that calling it noncanon is just not enough, or truly a pern in an alternative universe. Either way, they can go here. Crossover games would belong here as well.

It doesn't really even have to look like a 'dragon', but if you call it a dragon, put the game here. This is a board for advertising bonding games involving dragons of the game's original creation.

It doesn't matter if they aren't dragons, either-- if your game involves bonding creatures that AREN'T dragons, put the game here.

Half-crossovers, half not. If you took a fandom that was previously devoid of bonding beasties (say, harry potter), and threw on some bonding beasties (either of your own creation or not), you may put the game here.

because while bonding RP is technically the point of dragonsforeveryone, all dragons are welcome. :) So, at member request, here's a board for sites with dragons, but not bonding.

RP based on the book series by Naomi Novik. Napoleonic era dragon-bonding, complete with midair battles! Book series starts with His Majesty's dragon. Read it, it's good! and if you want to play it, list your games here! Contains a canon and a noncanon forum, but the use of those are optional unless we get a large number of listings.

Christopher Paolini's book series. Games for it go here! Magic, dragons, and epic war plots.

James Cameron's movie epic, which featured blue aliens riding dragons-- and more. Listings for games in this world go here.

While it's not quite the same, I'm willing to count daemons as bond-beasties for the purposes of advertising.

For roleplays set in David Webber's Honor-verse. Sci-fi. There aren't dragons, but the treecats are definitely bondable. :D

Other games based on existing media involving the bonding of dragons/creatures go here! I will be creating more boards in this category too (What's here is just what I could remember/has been brought to my attention), so threads here may be moved into their own board.

I suppose it's only fair to include non-beast-bonding based roleplay in this too, so here's a forum for everything else. Because that is not the focus for this site, they aren't going to be organized. That said, guests CAN post in here. These games will only be checked for activity when someone requests ness to do it, in the 'damnit ness' board or over email.

Same as above, but not based in a fandom.
